Toyota Motor Philippines launches the 2018 Alphard facelift

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines recently launched the upgraded 2018 Alphard with more added features to equate luxury with comfort. The 2018 Toyota Alphard will soon be on sale across the Philippines.

Toyota Alphard is not a new addition to the Philippines auto market and has been a popularly liked luxury family van since 2010. The Alphard features a distinctive redefined look, impressive engine performance, and luxury features.

Toyota Motor Philippines' Alphard looks unique with its new front-end featuring a massive and prominent new grille, bordered with sophisticated lines flowing towards the rear. The custom-made distinctive logo for the model further adds individuality to the vehicle and emanates luxury.

The Alphard is powered by a 3.5-litre DOHC 24-valve V6 powertrain roaring under the hood, which generates a maximum power of 275 hp and a peak torque of 340 Nm. The engine is coupled with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox that replaces the original 6-speed automatic transmission. It has a push button start/stop to trigger up fuel economy in busy traffic.

Inside, luxury and comfort exude from all corners with the entire cabin wrapped in full-leather, 16-hue ceiling illumination, two cosy captain seats with ottoman leg rest, three-zone auto climate control system, proximity-sensing keyless entry, touch screen entertainment system, and 2-DIN 8-speaker audio system with DVD playback. Individual air-con vents ensure perfect cooling across the entire cabin of this 7-seater vehicle.

The new facelifted version of Alphard gives utmost importance to the safety of the passengers. The car comes thoughtfully designed with safety features like Anti-lock Braking System or Anti-skid Braking System paired with Electronic Brake Force Distribution, seven airbags, Hill Start Assist, and Vehicle Stability Control.

The all-new Alphard will be available in multiple colour options like Steel Blonde Metallic, Luxury White Pearl, and Raven Black. This premium Toyota MPV might hit the dealer showrooms with its two variants, and the car might cost somewhat around ₱ 3,394,000. It is, however, not confirmed yet.
