2016 Toyota Innova: How Much will it Cost?

MANILA: 2016 Toyota Innova is a fitted with some class apart features and specifications. All this, to make it better from the on-going model that has gained appreciations over the years. But freshness is the need of the hour, no matter how good is your product, with time it will become obsolete. So, Toyota without any delay is soon to present the world with a refreshed version of its best-selling MPV, Innova.

But the question that struck many minds in the auto industry as well as our daily commuters, was the price hike that will come stapled to it. Yes, all were prepared for a price increment but, by “how much?” is the real question. According to a reliable source present in the Indonesian market, where the car will be launched first ( Nov. 23), the MPV will come with a price rise of 8.5%.

Expected Philippines Price of 2016 Toyota Innova -

• 2.5L Diesel Version Current Price Range – PhP 907,000 to PhP 1,306,000
• New Price Range for 2016 Model – PhP 984,095 to PhP 1,417,010
• 2.0l Petrol Version Current Price Range – PhP 1,251,000 to PhP 852,000
• New Price Range for 2016 Model – PhP 1,357,335 to PhP 924,420

(Note that the above price range is speculated and is calculated according to the 8.5% parameter)

Though, the car now costs more but it also comes with some striking features that justify this hike. Available in three trim levels, Q, V and G, all armed with a new 2.4L GD VN Turbo Diesel and 2.0L Dual VVT-i Petrol engine. The 2.4L mill will generate 149 PS @ 3,400 and 36.7 kgm (AT) / 34.9 kgm(MT). On the other hand, the 2.0L petrol mill develops 139PS @ 5,600rpm with 18.7 kgm @4,700rpm.
