Ford Ranger XLS sells for under Php 1-million, XLT gets huge discounts

MANILA: Many Filipinos are gearing up for Christmas – a season that is not only known for gift-giving but also for the massive discounts and special offers it brings. After a recent announcement, it seems that Ford Philippines wants to bring you holiday cheers as well. The local distributor of Ford vehicles has made a huge price slash on Ford Ranger XLS, reducing its retail price to under Php 1 million.

"We've made solid headways in our pickup truck business this year and we aim to sustain the momentum by bringing the Ford Ranger accessible to more customers by making the Ranger XLS more affordably-priced at below Php 1 million," says Ford Philippines Marketing Director Ryan Lorenzo.

Ford Ranger XLS 4x2 MT has a starting price of Php 1,032,000. Beginning today until the end of November, Ford Philippines is giving you a discount of Php 89,000 for the variant. You can now purchase the entry-level pickup for Php 943,000.

Aside from their base variant, the midrange Ford Ranger XLT is also getting a huge price cut. Its 4x2 MT and AT variants will have a cash discount of Php 125,000 throughout November compared to the Php 55,000 cash discount offered last month. You can also avail these discounts on a 24-month instalment with zero percent interest.

Ford Ranger XLT originally came with a Php 1,176,000 price tag for the 4x2 MT variant and Php 1,236,000 for the 4x2 AT variant. Their prices are now down to Php 1,051,000 and Php 1,111,000 respectively.

"With these great deals for the Ranger, more Filipinos will experience its versatility, toughness, and world-class capability," Lorenzo adds.

Ford Ranger XLS and XLT are mated to a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that delivers up to 160 hp and 385 Nm of torque. The pickup is ideal for customers with high workhorse and utility demands as it has towing, payload, and 800 mm water wading capabilities

Moreover, Ford Ranger has built-in driver-assist features which make it equally suited for city driving. These include cruise control, adjustable speed limiter, and an anti-lock braking system with brake force distribution.

Ford Ranger XLS and XLT discounted prices lasts until November 30, 2019.
