GAC International PH to unveil updated Emzoom on April 29

MANILA: GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company) International Philippines will unveil the updated Emzoom crossover for model year 2026. 

The aforementioned will be done via a livestream hosted on the brand’s official social media pages on Wednesday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m. Philippine Standard Time (PST). 

Per GAC’s local arm, the updated Emzoom was designed for the modern driver, balancing style, usability, and comfort. 

For now, GAC International Philippines has not yet published the full feature and spec lists for the model's two variants: the Emzoom GB and Emzoom R Style. However, its exterior features a redesigned grille and more than a handful of “sharper visual details.” 

Its interior, on the other hand, was kitted out with ventilated seating, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and advanced tech features such as parking assist. 

With all that said, GAC will publish the refreshed Emzoom’s pricing and full spec sheet during the livestream event mentioned above. So, stay tuned.

Other GAC International PH updates

At the recently concluded Manila International Auto Show 2026, GAC International Philippines went big by showcasing its new electrified lineup of cars. This includes the GS8 hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and the GN8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). 

The GAC GS8 HEV is a three-row sport utility vehicle equipped with an electronic continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) and an electronic four-wheel-drive system. At its maximum, it can produce 188 horsepower (hp) and 320 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. 

Meanwhile, the GN8 PHEV is a seven-seater, luxury multi-purpose vehicle (PHEV) with a maximum churn of 240 hp and an overall range of 1,038 kilometers (km). The plush MPV also comes with a pure-electric range of 106 km and a fast-charging system that can top up its battery from 10-80 percent in just 45 minutes. 

Both the GAC GS8 and GN8 are priced at P2.488 million. Until May 31, 2026, however, the two are offered with a P100,000 discount.
