Hyundai Staria Electric: specs, features
The key element of the all-new Hyundai Staria Electric is its 800-volt high-voltage system. This is already seen on locally available Hyundai-made EV nameplates such as the Ioniq 5, 5N, 9, and it provides “ultra-fast” direct current (DC) charging from 10-80 percent battery levels in just 20 minutes.

It likewise has a towing capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms (kg), and a peak electric motor output of 214 horsepower (hp).
The vehicle can likewise share its energy with a variety of devices through its vehicle-to-load system. Meanwhile, the model’s Euro-spec version comes with a heated charging-port cover for ease-of-use in cold weather situations.
Appearance-wise, the all-electric Staria bears the same general design direction as its internal combustion-powered counterparts. It still has a tall roofline paired with wide side doors, and a somewhat boxy overall shape that clearly optimizes its interior space.

Concerning its interior arrangement, the Hyundai Staria Electric may come with a seven-seater or nine-seater configuration. The seven-seater version has a luggage capacity of 435 liters, but Hyundai says the other higher-capacity trim comes with 1,303 liters behind its third row.
Depending on the trim, the Staria Electric has heated and ventilated seats, automatic climate controls, sliding second row seats, power-sliding doors, a power tailgate, as well as Hyundai’s latest Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC).

For now, Hyundai has not provided a full list of the Staria Electric’s safety gear, but it was indicated that it includes the SmartSense advanced driver-assist system suite, consisting of the following:
- Forward collision-avoidance
- Lane-keep assist
- Lane following assist
- Highway driving assist
- Smart cruise control
- Intelligent speed limit assist
- Blind-spot monitoring and collision avoidance
- Rear-cross traffic collision avoidance
- Driver attention monitoring
- 360-degree view camera
- Automatic high-beams
Availability
According to Hyundai, the Staria Electric will go on sale in South Korea and Europe in the first-half of 2026. It was stated that it will also introduce the said model in “additional markets,” but it was not stated if the Philippines was included.
Then again, the Hyundai Staria is already a relatively popular nameplate in the local scene. As such, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to release it locally.
