The vehicle is priced at P9.99 million.
  • Dubbed “The Pinnacle of Sustainable Luxury,” the newly-unveiled all-electric offering is said to be the first model developed on the modular design — which combined aesthetics, technology, safety, and connectivity.

While the Three-Pointed Star marque’s full-electric sedan is the S-Class’ counterpart, Mercedes-Benz said that the EQS boasts an electric architecture all its own. “This luxurious electric sedan marks a major milestone in integrating progressive mobility with executive-class luxury,” the company said.

The EQS wears a one-bow design created with a coupe-like roof line and extends in an arc over the vehicle, over the frameless doors to the rear. It also features a short nose and a one-piece aluminum clamshell hood. Complementing the overall design are the seamless door handles with chrome inserts as well as the 21-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels.

At the front, the car sports a black panel radiator trim with three-dimensional Mercedes-Benz pattern. On top, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is outfitted with a panoramic sliding roof.

The digital light with ultra range high beam on the Mercedes-Benz EQS adapts to the driving situation such as illumination on the road, traffic situation, road condition, and even the weather. On the other hand, the rear lights — which have internal mechanisms shaped like a curved 3D helix joined by a light band — resemble those seen in the members of the EQ roster.

On its dashboard is the 56-inch curved display called the MBUX Hyperscreen made up of 12.3-inch OLED screen on the driver side, 17.7-inch display in the middle, and another 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger. The infotainment system (that has Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity) comes with a matching 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system. A wireless charging dock has also been fitted into the vehicle.

Moreover, the car has active ambient lighting made up of 190 LEDs 64 colors available. The system works visually with the MBUX voice assistant and recognizes the position of the person speaking.

Powering the Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC is an electric powertrain with an all-wheel-drive system. It is capable of dishing out as much as 360 horsepower, which lets the vehicle accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour from standstill in 5.6 seconds.

The mill has a 108.4 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack that has a range of up to 717 kilometers (based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure).
