MANILA: The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025 has officially kicked off, and it saw a particularly busy first day with the commencement of the Mobility Marathon.

    BYD eMAX 7 price reveal

    BYD Cars Philippines, under the management of ACMobility, has revealed the official pricing of the all-new eMAX 7

    To recall, the all-new electric-powered multi-purpose vehicle comes in two trims. Check the table below for the BYD nameplate’s pricing details: 

    BYD eMAX 7 Standard

    P1.748 million

    BYD eMAX 7 Superior Captain

    Changan PH NEV lineup

    Changan Philippines has entered its new energy vehicle (NEV) era by debuting three models at MIAS 2025. The aforementioned includes the following: 

    • Changan Nevo Q05
    • Changan Nevo Hunter K50 Range-Extended electric vehicle (EV)
    • Changan Lumin EV
    • Changan Nevo A05 Plug-in Hybrid EV (initial preview)

    Kia PH mobility showcase

    Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, showcased the EV9, Carnival, Sorento, and Sonet at MIAS 2025. The appearance of the said models at the car show reinforces the Kia Movement’s aim of bringing “cutting-edge innovation, performance, and style to Filipinos.”

    MG Motor debuts ZS HEV, D90 4WD

    MG Motor Philippines has previewed the Philippine-spec ZS hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and the D90 4WD. The ZS HEV is the electrified version of the brand’s subcompact ZS crossover, while the D90 4WD is a mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV).

    Isuzu PH highlights new mu-X

    After its launch, Isuzu Philippines displayed the facelifted mu-X to the public for the first time. The updated SUV has a price ranging from P1.725 million-P2.67 million.

    Hyundai Elantra returns to PH

    Hyundai Motor Philippines has debuted the next-generation Elantra for the Philippine market. As of its introduction at MIAS 2025, the sedan nameplate has two trims: the Elantra Hybrid and the Elantra N Line

    Suzuki PH debuts Dzire Hybrid

    Suzuki Philippines Incorporated officially brings in the all-new Dzire Hybrid. With a starting price of P920,000, the aforementioned sedan utilizes a 1.2-liter mill paired with a 12-volt hybrid system.

    Chery Auto PH expands lineup

    At MIAS 2025, Chery Auto Philippines presented a total of three new vehicle models. The aforementioned include the all-new Tiggo Cross, the all-new Grand Tour, and the all-new Tiggo ReV. All three are crossovers of varying sizes equipped with loads of technologies.

    Updated GWM Cannon

    Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines officially launched the updated Cannon pickup truck at MIAS 2025. As of its introduction, the said pickup truck is priced at P1.498 million

    The Luxuriant-led brand likewise previewed the upcoming GWM Haval H9 - an imposing mid-size SUV loaded with creature comforts.

    GAC M8 PHEV launch

    GAC Motor Philippines, under the management of Astara, has previewed the M8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) at MIAS 2025. The said vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter engine paired with an electric motor and a dedicated hybrid transmission. It is set to see a local launch sometime in the third quarter of the year.

    Nissan’s 55 years in PH

    Lynk & Co Philippines rolls out the all-new 02 at MIAS 2025. The said model is an all-electric crossover with a starting price of P1.788 million. It also boasts a cruising range of 435 kilometers, as well as a peak output of 268 horsepower and 343 Newton-meters of torque.

    Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated presented the X70 Lighting i-DM and the T2 Lighting i-DM at MIAS 2025. The two nameplates are both hybrids with a combined driving range of 1,200 kilometers. 

    Pricing for the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM starts at P1.598 million, while the Jetour T2 Lightning i-DM starts at P2.398 million.
