Mitsubishi Xpander Cross wants to erase 'lackluster' image of MPVs

MANILA: Mitsubishi says it is one of the first brands to launch a chic and sporty MPV in the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, which boasts of heightened appeal, the generous space, and a reasonable price that first-time buyers and car aficionados look for in a reliable vehicle.

Launched last March, the Xpander Cross variant boasts  unique updates in performance and aesthetics, while maintaining key features the Xpander line is known for.

In 2018, the Mitsubishi Xpander was able to earn approval from the automotive market as it became one of its bestselling vehicles. It is also the first Mitsubishi model to have the Dynamic Shield design. Its renewed and robust appeal is said to change the “lackluster” view of most people toward MPVs.

The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross exhibits an athletic and robust stance through its sleek, bold front, class-leading 225mm ground clearance, black wheel arch molding with black side body garnish, 17-inch dark alloy rims, LED headlights, protective lower bumpers skid plate matched with sporty roof rails, and exclusively-tuned suspension.

Inside, the Xpander Cross has an expansive cabin that can comfortably accommodate seven passengers. It has versatile seats that can be configured in different settings. The flexible space can also hold luggage on family trips.

The interior features brown accents on  both on the dashboard and seats. Soft leather complements the comfortable seat cushioning. 

The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross features ample storage space for loose items, suitably positioned power outlets in the rear, middle, and front rows, audio-mounted controls, and a seven-inch infotainment system. These reflect a user-convenient concept and smart configuration.

The Xpander Cross is priced at P1,255,000 and is also part of the current MMPC  "Head Start" promo, wherein customers can avail of free two months amortization with a low down payment plan. The promo is applicable to the Mitsubishi Xpander GLS AT  and GLX Plus AT variants.
