Nissan PH to launch all-new Patrol on Mar. 28

MANILANissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) is set to introduce the all-new Patrol locally within the month.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • When and where will Nissan Philippines formally unveil the all-new Patrol?

The vehicle will be launched on March 28, 2025 at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall in Makati.
  • What will the Philippine-spec Nissan Patrol's possible powertrain?

The vehicle will come in a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline-fed engine (either in normally-aspirated of twin-turbo options).
  • The Japanese automaker’s local arm said that it will formally reveal the model on March 28 at the Rockwell Center Power Plant Mall’s South Court and will be displayed until March 30.

In addition, the company is already accepting reservations for the aforementioned sport utility vehicle (SUV) on its website.

The model’s much-awaited arrival followed NPI President Yasuhisa Masuda announcement last January about a new offering that will arrive in March.

Now on its seventh generation, the all-new Nissan Patrol — which is set to compete with the already-retailed Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 — made its global debut late last year.

While for NPI to share the details about it, here are the all-new Nissan Patrol’s possible specifications.

Are these the 7th-gen Patrol specifications?

    Exterior

As seen abroad, the all-new Nissan Patrol measures:

Overall dimensions (length, width, height; in millimeters [mm>)

    5,350 x 2,350 x 1,945-1,955

    Wheelbase (in mm)

    3,075

    Ground clearance (in mm)

    244-253

    Seat capacity

    Eight

Complementing the all-new Nissan Patrol squared look are its wide mesh “V-motion” grille with a pair of horizontal chrome bars, distinct bumper design, LED illumination (C-shaped illumination headlamps, daytime running lights, and tail lamps as well as the rear light bar), black pillars and the subtle body line on each side that runs from the front fender all the way to the rear.

Aside from that, the vehicle will likely have the following appointments:

    • Roof-mounted spoiler
    • 18-20-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires

    Interior

For its cabin, the Philippine-spec all-new Nissan Patrol will probably be outfitted with a 28.6-inch monolith display made up of two 14.3-inch digital screens that serve as cluster gauge and infotainment panel.

Other possible amenities that might be found in the upcoming all-new Nissan Patrol are:

    • Head-up display
    • Power-adjustable driver seat with a massage function
    • Panoramic sunroof
    • 15-watt wireless charging dock
    • 12-speaker Klipsch sound set-up
    • Two 12.8-inch rear screens
    • Air-conditioning system with biometric cooling function

    Powertrain

Overseas, the all-new Nissan Patrol comes with 3.5-liter V6 engines (either in normally aspirated and twin-turbo options), which can provide the following figures:

3.8-liter double overhead cam V6, continuous variable valve timing control system, direct-inject gasoline engine

3.8-liter double overhead cam V6, continuous variable valve timing control system, direct-inject gasoline engine with twin turbo

    Maximum output (in horsepower)

    316

    425

    Peak torque (in Newton-meters)

    386

    700

Both engine options send their maximum output to the wheels via a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

The all-new Nissan Patrol features a four-wheel-drive transfer interlock system and six drive modes namely:

    • Standard
    • Sand
    • Rock
    • Mud
    • Eco
    • Sport

Should NPI bring in the top-spec version, its customers will get the optional adaptive air suspension system.

Stopping power is guaranteed by its brake system made up:

    • Front: double-piston swing caliper disc-type
    • Rear: Single piston swing caliper disc type
    • Parking: Electronic parking

    Technologies

Further, the all-new Patrol is heavy in technologies as it also boasts Nissan’s ProPilot advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS) comprised of:

    • Panoramic view camera
    • Around view monitor
    • Automatic emergency braking
    • Pedestrian detection
    • Forward collision warning
    • Rear automatic emergency braking
    • Lane-keep assist
    • Adaptive cruise control

Zigwheels Philippines is expecting that the arriving next-generation Nissan Patrol will be sold with a more-than-P5-million price tag.
