Toyota PH turns over 50 Hiace ambulances to PCSO

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) turned over the first 50 of 300 Hiace Commuter Deluxe patient transport vehicle (PTV) units ordered by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The ceremony happened last February 4 at the Toyota Otis dealership.

Officers and representatives of the initial 50 municipalities and cities to take delivery of the units were present for the occasion, along with PCSO Vice Chairperson and General Manager Royina Marzan Garma, PCSO Charity Assistance Manager Atty. Marissa Medrano, PCSO Assistant General Manager Julieta Aseo, and PCSO Special Projects Division Chief Muriel Pajarillo.

During her remarks, Garma thanked Toyota for developing high-quality vehicles that can be transformed into PTVs to meet the medical transportation needs of local government units (LGUs).

The Hiace units have been modified to fulfill the requirements of PCSO’s Patient Transport Vehicle Distribution Program, which supplies medical transport vehicles to LGUs nationwide, and are guaranteed with the Toyota Sure Advantage of quality, durability, and reliability.
