MANILA: The fourth week of January 2026 saw plenty of developments. The motorcycle industry had some significant launches both locally and globally, and a new luxury brand entered the Philippine market.

Honda ADV160 update
In the fourth week of January 2026, Honda Philippines Incorporated launched the refreshed version of the ADV160. The model received additional technologies and aerodynamic improvements.
Price-wise, the refreshed AVD160 starts at P167,400 for the entry-level ABS-type, and retails at P174,900 for the top-spec RoadSync-type.

Triumph Scrambler 400 XC
In the same week, Triumph Philippines, under the distributorship of the Autohub Group, introduced the all-new Scrambler 400 XC.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is a more hard-core, off-road-oriented version of the Scrambler 400 X. It has more underbody protection, more adjustability, as well as taller ground clearance.
At launch, the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC retails at P404,000.

Denza brand launch
Denza has officially launched in the Philippines with four dealerships. Two operate under ACMobility Premium Dealership, one is under Harmony New Energy Auto Service Limited Corporation, and another is under E-Vantage Motors Incorporated.
For now, Denza has not disclosed its initial vehicle lineup, but it will likely consist of the D9, B5, and B8.

Upcoming local cars
VinFast Limo Green
VinFast regional Chief Executive Officer Antonio Zara confirmed that the local market will see the introduction of the Limo Green, an all-electric people carrier. No pricing details or localized specs for the upcoming nameplate were shared for now, but some of its details were already listed by the Land Transportation Office.

GWM Haval H9
Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines, under the management of Luxuriant Automotive Group Incorporated (LAGI), has announced that the Haval H9 will be entering the local market on February 4, 2026.

In the global market, Harley-Davidson unveiled its 2026 lineup. The American manufacturer’s bikes for the new year are mostly updates of the American Touring, Trike, Enthusiast Collection, and Custom Vehicle Operation (CVO) model series.

Toyota GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition
Toyota Motor Corporation has debuted the GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition. Currently, the model is in prototype stage, and once development is complete, only 200 units will be produced. Japan will get 100 units, while another 100 examples will go to Europe.
In a nutshell, the Toyota GR Yaris Sébastien Ogier 9x World Champion Edition comes with additional components inspired by Sébastien Ogier, a nine-time World Rally Championship (WRC) title holder.

In the fourth week of January 2026, Grab announced its partnership with GAC Motor. Under the said agreement, Grab will be able to deploy a fleet of electric vehicles across Southeast Asia. The initial batch will be 20,000 units made out of Aion Y, V, and ES units.
