Honda PH unveils refreshed RS125 underbone

MANILA: Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has officially unveiled the refreshed design of the RS125, a motorcycle that is best known for its exhilarating features that makes every ride exciting.

The new RS125 features new stripe designs in its three color variants: Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Nightfall Blue, and Victory Red. The motorcycle’s revamped image provides a slimmer and sportier look which makes it more stylish and exciting for first-time riders.

A new speedometer dial design is used on the Honda RS125 for clear and easy visuals. The motorcycle also features a new taillight design for signaling commuters behind. It also comes with a new body cover design, a seat cushion, and a muffler with a cap for noise suppression.

The motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled, 125cc, four-strike, overhead cam (OHC) engine that generates a maximum power of 7.12kW at 7,500rpm. According to the World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) Test Method, the RS125’s Euro 3-compliant PGM-Fi fuel system provides an excellent 67.5kpl fuel efficiency.

In a statement, HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi said, “At Honda, we aim to create a world where people get to enjoy traveling even if it’s as simple as buying groceries or going for a fun road trip. The new RS125’s refreshed design is our way of making our motorcycles exciting and sharing that feeling with Filipinos.”

The new RS125 is now available in all Honda dealerships nationwide with a retail price of P73,400. This newest addition to the Honda motorcycle lineup is part of the brand’s “One Dream” campaign that aims to provide the daily travel needs of the Filipinos and fulfill their dreams through the joy of mobility.
