2017 Isuzu D-MAX Launched In The Philippines

MANILA: It is not long that a Japanese automaker introduced its much awaited car in the Philippines and now another automaker has launched its pickup in the country just before the PIMS 2016. This time it is Isuzu and has launched 2017 D-MAX with refreshed exterior and interior. Before this, this Japanese automaker presented its D-MAX and mu-X at the GIIAS 2016 in Indonesia and now the Filipinos have been delighted with the updated D-MAX.

The overall profile of D-MAX looks bolder and more composed and some changes include revamped grille, prominent bumper, updated fog lamps and new projector headlights with LED daytime running lights. The side profile has also received some changes which include a power folding exterior mirrors, chrome door handles, and character lines that accentuates the overall profile in and effective manner. The rear profile also is also revamped with LED taillights, and now looks sturdy as well.

In the cabin the all black theme with silver accents and leather seats boast sportiness. Further, the 2017 D-MAX has been bestowed with a restyled instrument cluster with multi-information display. Automatic climate control, 7-inch touch screen head unit and push button engine start/stop function are some other features of updated D-MAX while gear indicator display being an additional feature of manual variant. D-MAX’s powermill is a 3.0-litre diesel engine with Variable Geometry System (VGS) which churns out 163 hp maximum power and 380 Nm peak torque with 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
