Chevrolet Camaro concepts showcased at 2016 SEMA Show

MANILA: Chevy’s Camaro has been in the limelight for quite a long time now, first it was for surpassing the Ford Mustang sales and now for its new avatars. Yes, the American automaker Chevrolet has introduced two new Camaro concepts at the 2016 SEMA Show. First is the Turbo AutoX, which is designed to lure the track day enthusiasts, particularly the ones who frequently participate in various autocross events. The other is the SS Slammer concept that attracts the ones who admire the aesthetics more over outright performance.

The Camaro Auto X is finished with Shock Yellow paint that is hard to get un-noticed while it is equipped with the 2.0-litre inline-4 turbocharged engine, which not only provides an impeccable output but also helps in keeping the nose of Camaro as light as possible. The Auto X concept will be also offered with a handling kit that features lowered ride height, larger stabilizer bars, and stiffer suspension links.

Considering the SS Slammer, this Camaro is fitted with adjustable air suspension, a body kit which features massive 22-inch wheels at the front while 24-inch at the rear. The body is covered in Dazzling Black color that is the result of a unique tri-coat process. This process involves gloss white flakes that add depth and sparkle when viewed from different angles. This glossy black Camaro features a huge 6.2-litre V8 engine that provides adequate adrenaline rush to the occupants. Apart from the aesthetic changes, these two cars have also received some significant performance upgrades, which include Brembo braking package and high-flow exhaust system.

Just like the customized Ford Mustangs, these new versions of Camaro will also attract a lot of muscle car lovers at the ongoing Show. Both these cars, will be displayed on the Chevy’s booth till November 4.
