Facebook founder transforms Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT into minivan

MANILA: Facebook co-founder and the current chief executive officer and chairman of Meta Platforms, Mark Zuckerberg, has turned a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT into a minivan. 

Zuckerberg executed the unusual but unique Porsche build for his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, with the help of Los Angeles-based West Coast Customs - an automotive modifications workshop made famous by the Pimp My Ride and Street Customs television shows. 

In a nutshell, the aforementioned workshop lengthened the body of the white-colored Cayenne unit. It was also enhanced with several modifications to improve its passenger capacity. Specifically, it received a three-row seating configuration, which can accommodate up to seven passengers. 

Obviously, the folks who worked on this ride had to cut it up to extend its length. Regardless, the pictures shared by the Facebook founder show that the stretched version of the high-performance crossover kept its notably sleek and sporty silhouette. 

“Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I’m pretty sure should exist: a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan,” Zuckerberg shared. 

Additionally, the billionaire executive also bought a white Porshe 911 GT3 fitted with the Stuttgart-based car maker’s Touring Package for himself to have a matching pair with his partner. 

Neither specs nor interior pictures for the heavily modified vehicle were shared. However, for reference, the Philippine-spec Cayenne Turbo GT utilizes a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing up to 650 horsepower and 860 Newton-meters of torque. Gear shifting for the model is done through an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. 

Additional handling and agility are ensured on the said Cayenne version by an active all-wheel-drive system, an electronic rear locking differential, and an adaptive three-chamber air suspension. Stopping power for the model, meanwhile, is provided by a set of Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.
