Ford Everest V6: specifications
In the Land of Smiles, the Ford Everest with the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine and 4x4 drivetrain combo goes by the name of “Platinum.”
At most, the six-cylinder turbodiesel Active trim produces up to 250 horsepower and 600 Newton-meters of torque. Its 4x4 management system also comes with six selectable drive modes: normal, economy, tow/haul, slippery, mud/ruts, and sand.
Other hardware for the Thai-spec Everest V6 is largely carried over from the lower-spec trims, including the ones that are already available locally. The same goes for most of its exterior, but it did see the addition of a two-tone black-and-body-color paint option.
Notably, the interior of the Thai-spec Ford Everest Active was enhanced with a 12.4-inch digital gauge, which is larger than the 12-inch digital gauge found on Philippine models. It does get the familiar 12-inch portrait infotainment display, but its sound system has been upgraded to a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen system.
Moreover, its driver’s seat now offers 10-way power adjustability instead of the 8-way adjustability of older Everest models. Its suite of advanced driver-assist systems was likewise enhanced with the addition of steering assist, which is touted to provide active intervention to help the driver avoid collisions.
