Initial delivery of Mitsubishi Xforce HEV commences in Thailand

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has started the delivery of the initial batch of the Xforce Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV). 

Per the Japanese carmaker’s Thai subsidiary, the model has been in production in the marque’s Laem Chabang plant, with roughly over 1,800 orders placed since the launch on March 20, surpassing expectations. 

According to Mitsubishi, customers who placed their orders were impressed by the model’s stylish and powerful design, roomy interior space, and powerful acceleration with top-class fuel efficiency. 

“We have a long history of doing business in Thailand, starting operations over 60 years ago. With the support of the Thai government, we have contributed to the advancement of Thailand's automobile industry. We will continue to contribute to the Thai economy and automobile industry while also introducing electrified vehicles at enabling Thailand to achieve carbon neutrality,” Mitsubishi Motors President and Chief Executive Officer Takao Kato said in a press release. 

The Mitsubishi Xforce HEV is the second HEV model from the company following the Xpander HEV series launched in Thailand in February 2024.

In the Philippines, the Mitsubishi Xforce is only offered with an internal combustion engine-powered system with the below powertrain features: 

• 1.5-liter gasoline engine 
• Continuous variable transmission 
• 105 horsepower 
• 141 Newton-meters 

It is available in two variants with the following price tags: 

Mitsubishi Xforce GT 1.5G 2WD CVT	P1.581 million
Mitsubishi Xforce GLS 1.5G 2WD CVT	P1.367 million
