Make Way for 2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrak

MANILA : Ford Ranger Wildtrak which for a long time has ruled the high-end pick-up truck markets in over 180 countries worldwide, has come up with a tweaked 2015 version of this Ute. The world got the first glimpse of its one-stage prior version at the Bangkok International Motor show in March, that was followed by an official introduction of Wildtrak variant in June. Now the moment for which every pick-up enthusiast have waited has arrived, as Ford has officially launched this power packed pick-up in Thailand, also reveling the price quotation following each of its variant.

The first thing that you notice in the new model is its hexagonal-shaped chrome grill in line with the smoked finish headlamps which adds to the vehicle's appeal. Besides, it has a boldly crafted bumper, side air-vents, chrome door handles and bed rails. The side indicators on the ORVM are very thoughtful and increases the utility.

As you step inside this monster Ute, a fully re-designed dashboard looks a lot inviting, it now features a 8-inch touch screen display integrated with SYNC 2 information system, that in guarded by the vertical air-con. The second half of the center console gives home to driving aids and all-wheel drive control. Moving to the driver's arena, it holds an 8-way power adjustment seat, facing the new embossed steering wheel, powered with electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) system that is all set to give a better driving experience.

The 2015 Wildtrak is available in three-engine variants, first is the top-of-the line variant fitted with 3.2L Duratorq inline-5 TDCI that generates maximum power of 200 PS with peak torque of 470 Nm. Second is the improved 2.2L Duratorq inline-4 TDCI that will now churn maximum power of 160 PS along with 470 Nm of torque. Third power-house on offer is the base version with a 2.2-liter engine which produces 125 PS and 320 Nm of torque. All the three variants are coupled with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

There is also Hill Launch Assist, Hill Decent Control, Adaptive Load Control and Emergency Brake Assistance function, making it a safe and secure pickup.
