Mitsubishi hailed as one of PH’s top importers for H1 2025

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has been hailed as one of the country’s top importers for the first half of 2025.

In a statement, the Japanese automaker’s local arm said that the recognition was announced last month at the 68th Founding Anniversary of the Port of Batangas.

Per MMPC, the Bureau of Customs received P6.1 million in revenues — accounting for more than nine percent of the government agency’s total collection during the January-June 2025 timeline.

The company looks at the achievement as part of its “continuing commitment to serving more Filipino customers” and highlights the strong and sustained demand for Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the local market.

Further, MMPC also reaffirmed the importance of its partnership with the customs bureau that plays a vital role in supporting the company’s operations.

“Moving forward, the company is committed to fostering continued collaboration with the agency to ensure mutual growth and to better serve the expanding needs of its dealers and customers for imported products,” MMPC shared.
