Nissan updates the Navara pickup with Off-roader AT32 to help #GoAnywhere
MANILA: The European version of the Nissan Navara Off-roader AT32 just got an upgrade to better its off-road capabilities and is coming on their showrooms next month.

According to Nissan Europe general manager for LCV sales and business development Manuel Burdiel, the Nissan Navara Off-Roader AT32 is a “sell-out success and proved incredibly popular with adventurers seeking elegance and toughness.” He further adds “We have upgraded the Off-Roader AT32 so it can maintain its position as the ultimate Navara while bringing new efficiency and becoming fully WLTP compliant. It’s the perfect blend of in-car technology, comfort, and extreme off-road performance.”
The updated Off-Roader AT32 was engineered with the help of Arctic Trucks for the pickup to better handle challenging terrains. It now sports a set of 32-inch off-road Nokian tires which added 20 mm to its ground clearance and reduces tire pressure for added traction. The black alloy rims are fitted with dual valves for easy and accurate adjustment of tire pressure.

It also got a new full-length aluminum panel underbody protection, courtesy of Arctic Trucks, made from high strength steel to effectively protect the engine, transfer case, and fuel tank. There is also the sidestep and mudguards not just for styling sake but also for functionality. Large fender flares and snorkel are optional which can also be added for improve air intake, protection of the engine from heavy dust and water, and maximize the 800 mm waddling capability of the pickup.
Lastly, and one of the most important upgrades of all is the arctic trucks' performance suspension and front differential locker. The suspension with Bilstein components raises the truck’s ride height by 20 mm which gives it an enhanced ride and suspension flexibility. The optional front differential locker, on the other hand, provides greater vehicle control and capability when managing tough terrains. Furthermore, the upgraded Navara was tested in Icelandic and Arctic conditions so you can be assured that you can #GoAnywhere with it.

Under the hood, the Nissan Navara Off-roader AT32 still runs on a 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel engine capable of delivering 188 hp of output and 450 Nm of torque. The updated Nissan Navara Off-roader AT32 will go on sale in Europe beginning February 2020.
