Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car teases PEC Singapore track layout
Race car to be driven by New Zealander Brock Gilchrist
MANILA: Porsche Asia Pacific has teased the track layout of the highly anticipated Porsche Experience Center (PEC) Singapore by slapping the circuit map atop a 911 GT3 Cup race car.

PEC Singapore's circuit is designed by Hermann Tilke.According to the German carmaker, the revealed silhouette highlights many exciting elements enthusiasts can look forward to, such as a high-speed straight coming out of an accelerating corner, where drivers can reach speeds up to 200 kilometers per hour.
Eagle-eyed fans can also make out sharp, banked corners designed to challenge and thrill drivers.
The handling course on the upcoming PEC Singapore is designed by Hermann Tilke of Tilke Engineers & Architects, who has signatures on iconic locations such as Sepang International Circuit, Circuit of the Americas, and Yas Marina Circuit.
“The upcoming Porsche Experience Center Singapore, built right at the gateway of Asia, will provide many more with the opportunity to fulfil their dream of driving a Porsche in its natural habitat — on a world-class handling track,” Porsche Asia Pacific marketing Director Yannick Ott said in a press release.
Porsche opened its first PEC back in 2008 in Silverstone, United Kingdom. Its facility in Singapore will be the carmaker’s 11th. Per the marque, it is set to bring more excitement to the future Changi precinct and aims to be operational in 2027.

Gilchrist will take the wheel of the #10 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car prepared by Earl Bamber Motorsport.
The New Zealand native earned a spot in Team Porsche New Zealand as a scholar and went on to become part of the prestigious PCCA Talent Pool – a program designed to recognize and develop promising drivers within the series.
