Spied: Toyota Innova 2.7 G, a Philippines Launch Expected @ Carbay Exclusive

MANILA: Toyota Innova 2016 is the hottest topic trending in the Philippines auto industry. Apart from the know all-new Toyota Innova, our car-paparazzi captured a never seen before 2.7 G export variant of the same.

Yesterday only Toyota launched its all-new Innova on the Indonesian soil, where it was welcomed with big open arms. But its hype was not restricted to Indonesia alone, as many of its neighboring countries, including ours shared the same overwhelming response. The news of a 2.7 G Innova came as a surprise to all, as no one was expecting a further addition in Toyota Innova profile anytime soon.

As per sources, PT Toyota Motors Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) is the said manufacturing destination for the 2.7 G Toyota Innova. To be specific Karawang Plant 1 is the factory where it will take the finished form. Manufactured exclusively for export purpose, we are expecting its delivery in Philippines, South Africa and Middle-East in the near future.

Karawang Plant is the same factory where the all-new Toyota Innova is being manufactured with the help of 80 state-of-the-art designed robots. These robots take as short as 1.6 minutes to produce a full-fledged Toyota Innova. Thus, concluding that the new 2.7 G Innova will share the same manufacturing process as its 2.0L(gasoline) and 2.4L (turbo-diesel) siblings.

Talking of Philippines the country is still running the old Toyota Innova, and we think Toyota will introduce both the Toyota Innova 2016 and Toyota Innova 2.7 G together, by next year.
