Suzuki PH targets to sell 400 S-Presso AGS units per month

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Inc. is set to officially launch the automatic transmission variant of the Suzuki S-Presso soon, with target sales of 400 units every month.

In an interview with Carmudi Philippines, Suzuki Philippines Inc. Auto Sales Manager Jude Racadio expressed his confidence that the monthly target would be met considering the success of the manual transmission variant of the Suzuki S-Presso in the country.

According to Racadio, the Suzuki S-Presso GL MT has an average sales of 300 units per month. He said that the company targets to sell a total of 500 units per month for both variants, majority of which coming from the automatic transmission variant.

Suzuki Philippines started accepting reservations for the Suzuki S-Presso AGS last month.

The Suzuki S-Presso AGS is powered by a new K10C engine that produces 67hp and 90Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed AGS (Auto Gear Shift) system. The Suzuki S-Presso AGS also comes with a variable valve timing system and Engine Automatic Stop Start technology (EASS) that help deliver better fuel economy and fewer emissions than the hatchback’s manual transmission variant.

In terms of safety features, the Suzuki S-Presso AGS comes with two SRS airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), an electronic stability program (ESP), and hill-hold control.

The Suzuki S-Presso AGS will be available in four colors: Sizzle Orange, Fire Red, Metallic Gray, and White. It is priced at P660,000.
