CAMPI-TMA sales further dive in Aug. 2025
Groups experience 7.6% dip vs same month in 2024
MANILA: Sales of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) for August 2025 have shown quite a dip.

Vehicle sales per category
Providing positive thrust to the CAMPI-TMA numbers is the commercial vehicle segment, which retailed 244,023 examples nationwide. Such a performance (which held nearly 80 percent share of the market) is higher by almost nine percent versus the 224,438 units handed over to clients for the same period in 2024.
Meanwhile, passenger car sales continue to dwindle as sales dropped by 23.6 percent — from 80,327 units sold last year to 61,358 this 2025.

The same record showed that out of CAMPI-TMA’s January-August 2025 sales, six percent of which still comes from new energy vehicle models — majority are from hybrid offerings.

CAMPI-TMA leader as of Aug. 2025
Maintaining its position at the top CAMPI and TMA’s sales rally is Toyota Motor Philippines — handing over 146,357 vehicles to buyers from January until August 2025. Such performance allows the Japanese automaker’s arm in the country to corner 47.93-percent market share.
Also keeping its position at second place is Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation with its 57,908-vehicle sales output and 18.96-percent market share.
Holding the third spot is Nissan Philippines, thanks to its 15,160-vehicle sales churn — with Ford Motor Company Philippines just a few hundred units away with 14,940.
Lastly, Suzuki Philippines placed fifth in the CAMPi-TMA sales rankings with 14,519 units sold (4.75 percent market share).
