Mitsubishi Motors PH receives honors at GREEN Awards 2025

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has received awards at the GREEN (Gearing towards Robust, Engaging, and Eco-friendly Neighborhoods) Awards 2025.

In a statement, the Japanese automaker’s local distributor said that it got the following pieces of recognition from the City Government of Santa Rosa, Laguna:

• Sustainable Development Partner Award
• Earth Hour Advocate Award.

The pair of accolades, MMPC mentioned, served as “testaments to its sustained efforts in implementing programs that advance Santa Rosa’s sustainability agenda, promote environmental responsibility, and strengthen collaboration with the local government and community stakeholders.”

MMPC Safety, Health and Environment Vice President Marfel Ancheta noted that the honors affirm the firm’s “shared commitment to sustainability.” “We remain dedicated to pursuing initiatives that help protect the environment and create long-term value for the community we serve,” the company executive added.

Leading the ceremony was Sta. Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas and the leaders from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

Earlier programs

Recently, MMPC also got a “Blood Services Platinum Award” from the Philippine Red Cross for its blood-donation initiatives.

Aside from that, it also held the “Support on Standby” program where it gave flood-affected customers up to 30-percent discount on parts. The initiative available until November 11, 2025.

A few months back, MMPC’s subsidiary Asian Transmission Corporation (ATC) took part in a forest preservation activity together with the Provincial Government of Laguna Environment and Natural Resources Office (Laguna ENRO). 

MMPC also donated a total of P100,000 at the 2025 Sikad-Lakad-Takbo Fun Run event, which in turn was held to protect and rehabilitate the Silang-Santa Rosa River.
