UK order books for next-gen Ford Ranger Raptor now open

MANILA: In the UK, order books for the 2023 Ranger Raptor have been opened. Customers can now specify and order the performance pickup from Ford. 

The second-generation Ranger Raptor was unwrapped earlier this year and is set to reach customers in late summer, with a starting price of start at £57,340 (around P3.7 million). 

In a statement, Ford Pro Europe General Manager Hans Schep commented on the pre-order. “Being able to build their dream next-gen Ranger Raptor is now a reality for our customers and they can experiment with the range of options with our online configurator,” he said. 

“Whatever the combination, Ranger Raptor will always deliver its trademark ultimate off-road driving experience.” 

The 2023 Ranger Raptor can be optioned with a Raptor Splash Decal Pack, exterior “Raptor Pack” that includes a cab rollover bar and power roll top tonneau cover. New Code Orange premium paint job can also be optioned for the new Raptor. 

Developed by Ford Performance, the sporty version of Europe’s best-selling pickup introduces a twin-turbo three-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, Fox Live Valve dampers, and seven selectable drive modes to offer the best performance on a variety of terrains.

The 2023 Ranger Raptor is even equipped with active exhaust system that delivers adjustable engine sounds with four exhaust modes, which is tuned for different driving scenarios.

Occupants of the new Ranger Raptor also benefit from the latest technology controlled via the 12.4-inch all-digital cluster and 12-inch central touchscreen. The latter boasts of Ford’s new-generation SYNC 4connectivity and entertainment system.

Customers can continue to build their dream Ranger Raptor using the Ford’s online configurator. They can choose from color options including Arctic White, Blue Lightning and Code Orange. For features, their tailored Ranger Raptor can come with a Raptor Exterior Dress-Up pack, a Splash Decal package, functional load bars and roller shutters.
