VinFast PH awards winner of VF 3 design challenge

MANILA: VinFast Philippines hailed local artist Warren Trinidad as the winner of its VF 3 Brave New Imagination Creators Challenge at the recently held Manila International Auto Show a few weeks back. 

Per the local wing of the Vietnamese auto maker, Trinidad’s work — which was themed “Lakbay (Journey)” — stood out for its compelling visual storytelling. 

According to VinFast Philippines, Trinidad’s design captured themes of movement, adventure, and Filipino heritage. 

“My design is inspired by travel, as it is how I unwind and reconnect with myself,” Trinidad shared. 

As the first prize winner, he received a brand-new VinFast VF 3. 

“This contest gave men the perfect canvas to mix what I love most: creativity, culture, and color. I’m excited to take my new VF 3 on the road with Lakbay on full display,” he added. 

VinFast VF 3 quick specifications 

The VinFast VF 3 is a small electric crossover, which offers robust and rugged vibes coupled with a sustainable all-electric powertrain.

Below are its performance figures: 

• Maximum horsepower: 40 
• Overall range: 215 kilometers 

Charging the battery only takes over half an hour to reach 70 percent. 

The VinFast VF 3 also attracts tech-savvy buyers with its 10-inch infotainment screen, while those who look to use it as a daily driver will enjoy its easy-to-clean plastic interior trims. 

Price starts at P745,000.
