WATCH: Kia PH unveils 2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line; Release date and spec list

MANILA: After months of waiting and teasing after being introduced at the 2022 Philippine International Motor Show, Kia Philippines has finally taken the wraps off one of the most anticipated models of the year, the all-electric Kia EV6. 

The Kia EV6 is being gradually rolled out globally, winning multiple awards in major markets where it is available. The sole variant released by Kia Philippines is the Kia EV6 GT-Line, with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) powered by a 77.4 kWh Li-ion battery that makes 225 hp and 350 Nm of torque. 

2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line Headlamp

For those worried about range anxiety, the 2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line can traverse about 528 km on a single charge. Also, an 11kW AC system can charge the EV6 from 10% to 100% in 7 hours and 20 minutes. Those with a DC fast charging system can charge the EV6 from 10% to 80% in just 73 minutes using a 50kW system. A 350kW DC charging station, which can charge the EV6 from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes, can supercharge the EV6 even faster wherever it is available. 

2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line Parked-2

The 2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line will be available at Kia Philippines dealerships starting on March 21,2023. Pricing has yet to be announced, but Kia Philippines has teased us with a sub-4 million peso starting price. With the signing of Executive Order 12, that price just might be up in the air at the moment stay tuned to ZigWheels Philippines for more updates.
