2015 Ford Ranger Debuts in Philippines

MANILA: Tough yet smart is the Ford Ranger. After being one of the best selling model of Ford, the Ranger receives technological and chassis updates for 2015 and is now finally launched in Philippines. The new Ranger gets an all-new front fascia, clamshell hood with ridges on top, hexagonal grille, and new wheel designs. A new exterior color is also offered; Pride Orange.

The car is renewed from inside also wherein there is an upgraded infotainment system, SYNC II system, and a partially digital instrument panel. Exclusive for the Wildtrack variant are the eight way power leather seats with orange stitches while the XLT variant has fabric seats. Ford said that the chassis rigidity has been strengthened and durability along with drivability has been improved.

It has Electronically Assisted Power Steering with a bunch of safety feature like adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensor, Lane Keeping Alert with Assist, Forward Alert, and Adaptive Load Control for those who carry loads in Ranger. The 2.2-litre Duratorq diesel putting out 160 PS and 385 Nm of torque is standard in 2015 Ford Ranger. The Wildtrack models are available with 3.2-litre Duratorq which throws out 200 PS and 470 Nm of torque along with 2.2-litre inline-four mill.
