2016 Mirage Finally Makes Its Way To the Philippines: Launching Tomorrow

MANILA: This is just in, the highly awaited 2016 Mirage will finally be launched in the Philippines after teasing the audience at the Manila International Auto Show held earlier this month. Apart from expanding their already glorious fleet, the new car might also help the manufacturer in strengthening the buyer’s dwindling trust due to their recent Fuel Economy scandal. Although the scandal doesn’t seem to affect the company’s growth in the Philippine market, the new launch will certainly provide them with a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Looking at the immense crowd response it received at the auto show, the Mitsubishi Mirage 2016 is sure to sell a lot of units as soon as it hits the showrooms. Despite the high demand for sedans in the country, there has been an increase in the demand for compact hatchbacks and city cars that also provide great fuel economy. The high demand could be the result of increasing traffic in the Philippine cities that makes it hard for the drivers to effectively maneuver their vehicles.

The new Mirage is certainly a great car for this task as it features a highly sporty yet compact design that is totally different from the older generation. The pronounced grille in the front along with the brooding headlamps give the Mirage quite an aggressive stance. The launch will be held tomorrow at the Solaire Resort and Casino, in Metro Manila. The event will take place in the presence of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ senior officials and will certainly absolve them for not launching 2016 Mirage at the Manila auto show.
