Ford Everest 2016 Fire Cause Detected, Recall Not Required
MANILA: The ill-fitted battery system, says Ford was the cause that Ford Everest caught fire. Now, those of you who are not aware of the situation we would through a little light on the unfortunate incident. Only a few days back a brand new Everest 2016 caught fire while it was running down the Australian roads. And out of nowhere the car that was on test round by a media person blaze down to ashes.
Flames were high and it took the firefighters 20+minutes to cool down the system. After the entire incident, the black smoke wrapped Everest 2016 went down for inspection to inquire about the culprit. Now Ford officials say that it's not a mass problem and was restricted to just one car. According to them, the battery was replaced by factory workers when the said car was parked abattoir and caused the company the shame, all aware of. The terminals and battery were ill-fitted and caused a fire while the vehicle was on rounds.
Ford Australia safety experts said that it was a fault on the workers’ end, and is not a design or technical fault. Therefore, the customers should not panic and there is no need for recall as all vehicles are perfectly tuned and are fitted properly. Also, Ford officials are very sorry about the unfortunate incidence and consider themselves unlikely over the entire issue.
A source inside Ford house further explained the issue saying that cars these days are tightly packed as they contain a number of system and equipment. And one loose end at any corner can create trouble in the whole system. He further explained that the positive battery terminal is near to diesel fuel filter and so can easily catch fire.
Ford Philippines share the same export house as its Ford Australia counterpart, and the company further assured all its customers to sit back and relax as the situation in fully under control and the all new Everest is a well-fitted healthy car.
