Ford revives ‘Free Wheeling’ package for 2025 Bronco

MANILA: Ford has brought back the Free Wheeling look for the 2025 Bronco — an appearance package previously seen on its trucks and vans in the 1970-80’s.

In a statement, the Blue Oval brand, the new 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling appearance package—then available for the F-100, F-150, Bronco, and Econoline van — features a rich mix of red, orange, and yellow colors, giving the sport utility vehicle a lively, retro look.

“Bronco has always been about fun and capability since day one and Free Wheeling’s looks kick that up a notch with its sunset inspired beach vibes,” Ford Vehicle Personalization Chief Designer Steve Gilmore said.

“We’ve modernized the new Bronco Free Wheeling in line with today’s fashion and graphic trends, including seats that mimic the color palette of the exterior stripes and unique pops of color that come together in an optimistic way,” he added.

Outside the said model are graphics with red, orange and yellow gradients, painted steel wheels, and black finishes on the grilles, mirrors, and bumpers while its cabin comes with red and orange pin striping on the dash and seat stitching.

Distinguishing marks

Available in the United States as an optional appearance package for the Big Bend trim, the Ford Bronco Free Wheeling has reflective red, orange, and yellow graphics on its sides, silver door handles, and an iconic silver grille with a red outline and white center “BRONCO” wordmark.

Aside from that, the aforementioned version sits on 17-inch gloss-black steel wheels, while the optional Sasquatch package has similarly-sized wheels with a machined lip that includes red pockets.

The hues on the outside match the colors outfitted on the seats made up with a mix of Marine-Grade Vinyl and fabric upholstery. 

Further, the Ford Bronco Free Wheeling package has an optional premium Shadow Black painted roof, along with the standard soft top and available molded-in-color removable hardtop.  

Ford Philippines has yet to announce plans of bringing the said offer in the country.

To note, Ford Philippines officially carried the Bronco nameplate since May this year. The model — retailed in Ecoboost Premium and GT Premium variants — is the Outer Banks with Sasquatch Package. It wears a P4.998 million price tag.
