Kia PH leadership eyes 25% sales growth by yearend 2025

MANILA: The leadership of the Kia in the Philippines is eyeing to hit at least 25-percent growth to close 2025.

Kia Philippines Managing Director Jose Marie Lopez disclosed the conservative target after the company enjoyed a retail 6,770-example retail churn in the last 10 months of the year.

“Kia’s strong performance in 2025 reflects the confidence Filipino consumers continue to place in our brand and the appeal of our current lineup,” Lopez told Zigwheels Philippines.

Serving as Kia’s sales frontrunner in the Philippines this year is the Sonet — the brand’s entry in the local subcompact crossover arena.

According to Lopez, its best-selling model has retailed 5,040 units in the country in the January-October 2025 — cornering 23 percent of the segment and securing a strong number two position, reinforcing its momentum in the market.  

“The Sonet’s outstanding performance shows how it continues to meet the evolving needs of drivers by combining efficiency, practicality, technology, and safety in a stylish modern design,” the Kia Philippines head honcho said.
