MG keeps old pricing until June 30 despite safeguard duty

MANILA: MG Philippines has announced that it will not be collecting an additional deposit from customers to cover the provisional safeguard bond as mandated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for all brand-new MG vehicles that will be purchased until June 30.

Until the aforementioned date, all MG dealerships will be following the old pricing on the brand’s locally-available models, including the best-selling MG ZS crossover SUV, the sleek and sporty MG 6 fastback sedan, the versatile and high-powered RX5 SUV, and the feature-packed MG 5 sedan. All these models are equipped with advanced, user-friendly features including touch screen infotainment systems, 360-degree camera view, panoramic sunroofs, automatic LED headlights, traction control, and hill start assist.

The suggested retail pricing for the full lineup of MG vehicles in the Philippines is indicated below:
