Nissan steals the show at PIMS 2018 with their Warrior X

MANILA: Nissan Philippines at PIMS 2018 revealed the Juke Nismo, a special version of their new SUV, the Terra S, and the 370Z Nismo. And as the show-stopper, arrived the Warrior X.

The Warrior X is no stranger but a heavily customized variant of their successful pickup-truck Navara. The special edition deserved a unique title, thus, Nissan has called it the Warrior X. Along with the new 20-inch alloy wheels, there are the modified front and rear bumpers. Other major updates include a rear spoiler, wider flares, and a roll bar. There’s no denying to the fact that the customized Navara, well, the Warrior X is a beauty-cum-beast.

Major update that comes with the Nissan Warrior X is actually hidden under the bright red paint, custom leather seats, and other visual distractions. It is the all-new suspension setup that has also resulted in an increased height of the vehicle. As of now, the new dimensions and the characteristics of the suspension remain unknown. The best part of the story? All the customization on the Warrior X has been done locally in the Philippines.

The current Nissan Navara in the Philippines is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel mill, that comes in different configurations for the 4x4 and 4x2 variants. On the 4x4 model, the engine pumps out 190 PS and 450 Nm, while churning out 163 PS along with 403 Nm on the 4x2 machines. The power is delivered via a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed manual unit. It is highly likely for Warrior X to feature the same powerhouses without any tweaks.

With pickup lovers licking their lips, the unavailability of price and delivery time of the Nissan Warrior X leave no option for them but to wait.
