The MG ZS Hybrid+ will be launched on July 3, 2025.In a nutshell, the latest iteration of one of MG’s most popular crossover nameplates has received a more modern exterior, a larger array of safety features, and, more importantly, a new variant featuring an electrified powertrain.
So, ahead of its official launch, here is a specs preview of the all-new MG ZS Hybrid+.
Exterior
On the outside, the MG ZS Hybrid+ now wears a tauter and sharper exterior that is clearly more modern compared to the outgoing model.
Complementing the crossover’s sharp new design is a lineup of exterior features, which include power-folding side mirrors with heating, a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, LED lighting fixtures, a rear windshield defogger, and a glass-printed antenna.
Size-wise, the model measures 4,430 millimeters (mm) in length, 1,818 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 2,610 mm, and it has a ground clearance of 140 mm.
Interior
Inside the all-new MG ZS Hybrid+ is a well-equipped cabin with space for up to five occupants. On the higher-spec versions, everyone is kept cool by an automatic single-zone climate control system. Its seats, meanwhile, are clad in leather upholstery, while its dashboard and interior door cards are flush with soft-touch materials.
For the driver, the MG ZS Hybrid+ provides a six-way power-adjustable seat with lumbar support. The model was also equipped with a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, a push-to-start button, a keyless entry system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an electronic parking brake, a drive mode selector, and a tilt-and-telescopic steering column.
The dashboard of the all-new model, meanwhile, is dominated by a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Topping up devices in the crossover is done easily thanks to its four USB ports and 12-volt accessory outlet.
Other noteworthy interior equipment of the MG ZS Hybrid+ includes, but is not limited to, the following:

- Six-piece speaker set
Safety
For safety, the latest iteration of the MG ZS comes with a wide array of standard safety gear. Specifically, it has anti-lock braking, hill-start assist, hill-descent and hold control, anti-rollover protection, electronic stability control, traction control, vehicle dynamics control, tire pressure monitoring, ISOFIX, six airbags, and a 360-degree view camera - among others.
The aforementioned are further reinforced by a suite of advanced driver-assist systems, which include:

Powertrain
The all-new MG ZS Hybrid+ sits as the top-spec variant. As its name suggests, it utilizes a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, a lithium-nickel-manganese (NCM) battery, and a 3-speed hybrid transmission. At maximum, the aforementioned variant can deliver up to 194 horsepower (hp) and 250 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
For the mid-spec Sport variant, it utilizes a turbocharged 1.5-liter mill capable of producing up to 167 hp and 275 Nm of torque. Its engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with seven simulated gears.
The entry-level Luxury and Comfort, meanwhile, are propelled by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-liter inline-4 with a maximum output of 108 hp and 141 Nm of torque. Its engine is also paired with a CVT, but it has eight simulated gears.
All trims are front-wheel-drive models featuring a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension. Braking, meanwhile, is handled by front and rear discs for all four versions.
