Mitsubishi PH rolls out 200,000th L300 unit
MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced yesterday the attainment of another milestone — its completion of the 200,000th L300 unit.
This classic utility van has been able to sell over 190,000 units to date, and is considered one of the most trusted models in the country due to its competitive price, durability, and highly reliable engine.
The auto company also deployed numerous Mitsubishi L300 units to the national and local government for different outreach activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
MMPC CEO and President Mutsuhiro Oshikiri stated that this particular breakthrough reflects the resiliency of the auto company. He added that, regardless of the challenges brought about by the pandemic, MMPC still aims to offer high-quality vehicles. It also targets to reinforce the livelihood of Filipinos and provide assistance to fulfill the business and transportation needs of the public.
As MMPC has been in the industry for more than 56 years, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation CEO Takao Kato pointed out the company’s commitment towards the finalization of plans in exporting the Mitsubishi L300 to other ASEAN countries.
Kato added that Mitsubishi is also doing its best to improve the quality and competitiveness of the MMPC facilities for the L300 to be a reliable model in the ASEAN.
