Isuzu’s muXOP members complete 1,000 tour to Catanduanes

MANILA: The muXOP (mu-X Owners Philippines) is just a year old club but still comprises over 2,000 members. This club has been actively taking part in humanitarian activities and group tours. The humanitarian activities include the recent relief-delivering act for those who were displaced due to the recent Mount Mayon eruption.

Speaking about group tours, the muXOP has recently covered a trip spanning over 1,000 kilometres in the Catanduanes island province. This tour was pulled off from 27th of April to 1st of May. The people present were the representatives of the Isuzu Philippines Corporation and the members along with their families. The cars used were Isuzu mu-X LSA automatic and manual variants, both having the 4x2 drivetrain.

The trip started from the service station in Petron KM 44 Southbound at South Luzon Expressway towards the evening of 27th April. It then moved on to the RORO (roll-on roll-off) from the Tabaco at the Albay Province and continued to the Port of San Andres.

All the Isuzu mu-X SUVs, all along the trip, have been extremely consistent with almost no hiccups, were reliable and had enough power to cruise through the mountain roads and the coastal plains. The SUVs had sufficient power delivered consistently to the wheels even with the occupants and luggage on load, besides being conveniently spacious all throughout the 1,000 kilometres.

The new RZ4E engine, which powers the mu-X, would encourage the members and other owners to go for more of such trips. And this would be possible with the improved mechanism of the SUV like better fuel efficiency, cleaner emissions and a relatively smoother engine with significantly lesser vibrations and engine noise.

The Catanduanes island is the 12th largest island in the country and an excellent place for the locals. The group convoy had a lovely time while they were navigating in this island. There are some amazing sights waiting for the members to capture in their cameras. Among all, the 200-feet seaside cliff at Binurong, which opens up to the Pacific ocean, was the best.
