At Php 1.3 million, Isuzu launches the mu-X RZ4E LS Automatic at 2018 PIMS

MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), at 2018 PIMS has come up with an automatic variant of the entry-level RZ4E LS in the mu-X range. The newest mu-X RZ4E LS gets an automatic transmission update and is priced at Php 1.3 million. This is a treat for the people who are looking for a 7-seater automatic SUV without shelling out too many Pesos.

Unlike its other siblings in the mu-X range, the latest offering comes with gray-colored front grille instead of chrome, and the same has been replicated at the rear as well. The wheels are also now smaller at 16-inches and it misses out on fog lights. Bi-LED projector headlights with LED DRLs are a few elements that new mu-X shares with its high-end brothers.

Inside of the SUV, there is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. The seats are wrapped in fabric and it gets manual air-conditioning. However, the LS automatic gets power-adjustable side mirrors and a multi-info display.

Powering this mu-X is the same old 1.9-litre RZ4E turbo-diesel engine churning out 150 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The transmission highlighted here is the 6-speed automatic unit, that comes with manual gear select.

While missing out on parking sensors and reverse parking camera, the mu-X RZ4E LS A/T get safety features like ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Brake Override System, and dual SRS airbags as standard.
