So, while waiting, here’s what the automotive marques will highlight at the much-awaited event in the country for this year.

    Other stories:

    BYD

Based on its invitation to Zigwheels Philippines, BYD Cars Philippines shared that it will preview upcoming models at the annual four-day exhibition.

Although no details were provided, we are looking forward to seeing the Sealion 7 battery electric vehicle (BEV), Sealion 8 DM-p and Ti7 plug-hybrids (PHEV).

    Changan

Changan Philippines could be unveiling (or previewing the) fourth-generation CS55 Plus —one of the models that are expected to arrive as early as December 2025.

The said model was seen during a recent trip to Chongqing alongside the Eado Plus, which replaced the Alsvin.

    Deepal

The speculation about the Deepal brand coming to the Philippines erupted after Inchcape Philippines announced its plans for 2026.

However, the brand appointed the Autohub Group as its official distributor in the Philippines a month after.

Earlier, Deepal's local arm announced that it would launch various models for the Philippines market. They are the S05, G318, and S07 — with the first two set to be introduced soon while the last one is estimated to arrive in the succeeding quarters of the year.

    Denza

On the other hand, BYD Philippines mentioned in a separate invitation that it will preview the Denza B5, B8, and Z9 GT. The first two nameplates are sport utility vehicles while the third one is a five-door wagon. No details were shared when this article was posted.

These three will share the limelight with the Denza D9, which is the brand’s initial offering in the country.

    Geely

Aside from highlighting the EX5 EM-i, Geely Motor Philippines will probably showcase the EX2, which was recently spotted at the Department of Energy list.

Such speculation came after the Hangzhou-headquartered marque announced that the Geely EX2 may enter more markets, including the Philippines, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, and South Africa, to further expand the brand’s presence worldwide.

    GWM

The Luxuriant-led GWM Philippines will likely take the opportunity at the Manila International Auto Show to display the current Haval H9 and Cannon.

However, given the current conditions that led to the skyrocketing price of diesel, it is not a far-fetched idea that the company might consider bringing in an electrified model.

    Kia

Considered an open secret, Kia Philippines will formally unveil the EV5 at the event.

First seen at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, the model shall join the EV9 as part of the brand’s efforts to further expand its new energy mobility solutions for the local market.

    MG

MG (Morris Garages) Motor Philippines could be revealing the latest version of the MG 5.

The theory was based on the teaser that the SAIC Motor Philippines-managed firm posted on social media. “Get ready for the next wave of MG,” MG Philippines said in a post.

    UAAGI

Without announcing if there would be public launches, United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated shared that it will occupy 3,000 square meters of space—the largest of any single entity at MIAS 2026—made up of indoor and outdoor display spaces, and a dedicated, in-venue test drive area.

The automotive marques under UAAGI are BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar.

    212

212, distributed under Transcorp Incorporated, is about to make its Philippine debut at the MIAS 2026.

No details have been shared at the time of writing, but the brand has just created a Facebook page, which shows the T01 vehicle.

So, are you ready for MIAS 2026?
