Teaser Treat – Mitsubishi 2016 Pajero Sport : VIDEO

MANILA: Mitsubishi, the Japanese automobile-maker is making headlines these days with its 2016 Mitsubishi Montero Sport (Pajero Sport). Seen earlier this month, shooting a commercial somewhere in Bangkok, it gave a visual treat to the awaited fans. But now no more peeping through the spied camera lenses, as Mitsubishi has officially released a teaser video of its new wild beast. Scheduled to make its world debut in Thailand next month, this teaser gives us a clear-cut idea, of what’s new in plate does Mitsubishi has to offer, with this next-generation PPV. This 15 seconds teaser video will surely give you a deja-vu felling, and reason for this is the high resemblance it shares with its predecessor like the GC-PHEV concept and the Outlander PHEV-S.

But this new Mitsubishi, apart from carrying some legacy from its predecessor, offers some new and refreshed looks. Starting from the exterior front, the new 2016 Montero Sport showcases a new 'Dynamic front' grill that smoothly blends with the restyled headlights that are stylishly wrapped around with the chrome lining. Further, it has received a new smooth bumper, which perfectly enhances its aggressive looks. On to the sides, the character lines and bigger and better wheel arches further defines its beautifully sculpted body.

It is the rear end, which has received major transformation. It is embossed with a new-vertical shaped tail light, that touches the third-row window, and then runs down to the newly designed tailgate extending to the rear bumper.

Under its re-styled bonnet, it is expected to house the same engine that served the Strada/L200/Triton pickup. The two engine variants that it will offer are- 2.4L MIVEC turbo diesel that churns out 182 PS and 430 Nm and the top-of-line made 4S56 2.5L common-rail turbo diesel producing 178 PS and 400 Nm.

Slated to make its debut this August, this 'design to perfection' masterpiece will surely be a major head turner.
