Ford PH to bring out special editions of Ranger Raptor, Wildtrak

MANILA: Ford Philippines is set to unveil the special edition versions of the Ranger Raptor and Wildtrak this month.

Based on the invitation sent to Zigwheels Philippines, the models’ unique iterations will be both revealed on November 13 — particularly at the 2025 Autofocus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival.

While the Blue Oval has yet to share details about the upcoming offerings, the public can expect that the soon-to-be-revealed special edition models are going to be “stylish new additions to the Ford Ranger lineup.”

Following Ford Philippines’ claim, we are assuming that the two pickup trucks will sport aesthetic updates while its mechanical parts untouched — similar to what was done with Everest Sport Special Edition revealed earlier this year.

With this belief, we might see blacked-out portions for the yet-to-be-revealed versions. Aside from that, they will likely be fitted with the same powertrain options found on their standard versions.

To note, the conventional Ford Ranger Wildtrak is equipped with either of the following drivetrain configurations

• 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel mated to 10-speed automatic transmission (4x4)
• 2.0L Turbo Diesel matched to a six-speed (4x2)

On the other hand, the standard Ranger Raptor can also be had in:

• 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel mated to 10-speed automatic transmission (4x4)
• 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo EcoBoost Gasoline with 10-speed automatic transmission (4x4)

Further, customers and fans eyeing for the special-edition Ford Ranger models can expect a slight bump on their respective starting prices, which currently ranges from P1.949 million all the way to P2.645 million.
