MANILA: Similar to the first half of 2025, the second half of the year saw a barrage of car launches, which were a healthy mix of new energy vehicles (NEV), as well as model updates and all-new models.

    Zeekr 7X

    Autohub Group introduced the all-new Zeekr 7X for the Philippine market back in July 2025. It has a price ranging from P2.75-P2.999 million, and it is available in rear- or all-wheel-drive trims.

    Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elegance

    The Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elegance was brought in by Inchcape Philippines as a limited-edition trim retailing at P5.29 million. It uses the same engine as the Avantgarde Extra Long variant, but it has additional features.

    Hyundai Palisade

    Hyundai Motor Philippines launched the next-generation Palisade in July 2025 with a starting price of P3.98 million. It received a new exterior design, more features, and a new hybrid 2.5-liter turbocharged powertrain.

    Hyundai Ioniq 9, updated Ioniq 5

    Hyundai Motor PH launched the all-new Ioniq 9 full-size electric vehicle (EV) together with the updated Ioniq 5

    The Hyundai Ioniq 9 boasts a six-seater configuration, a range of 600 kilometers, and an all-wheel-drive layout. The Ioniq 5, on the other hand, received an updated battery with a range of 530 km, and a beefed-up output of 225 horsepower (hp) and 350 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

    BMW M5, M5 Touring PHEV

    SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation introduced the all-new M5 and M5 Touring (wagon) high-performance models for the Philippine market in July 2025. 

    The M5 saloon version is capable of producing up to 757 hp and 1,000 Nm, while the M5 Touring boasts a hybrid mill with a 69-km electric-only range. Pricing for the two models starts at P12.79 million.

    Chevrolet Groove

    Chevrolet Philippines has launched the Groove with a price of P1.156 million. The five-seater crossover uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that can produce up to 148 hp and 255 Nm of torque.

    Toyota Yaris Cross SE

    Toyota Motor Philippines introduced the Yaris Cross SE as the model’s latest top-spec trim. It retails at P1.69 million and features a sportier exterior and more driving-related amenities.

    Ford Mustang Mach-E, Territory Hybrid

    Ford Philippines started its electrified journey in the local market with the launch of the Mustang Mach-E and Territory Hybrid

    The Ford Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric crossover with a dual-motor setup that can churn out 388 hp and 676 Nm of torque. The Ford Territory, meanwhile, is the nameplate’s next-gen model with an improved chassis, additional safety gear, and a new electrified powertrain.

    Hongqi E-HS9, E-QM5

    In August 2025, Hongqi Philippines expanded its lineup with the introduction of the E-HS9 sport utility vehicle (SUV) and the E-QM5 sedan. 

    The Hongqi E-QM5 retails at P1.88 million and has a range of 560 km. The E-HS9, on the other hand, is priced at P6.48 million, and it boasts a luxurious cabin, loads of safety gear, and a range of up to 515 km.

    Jaecoo J7 SHS

    Also in August 2025, Jaecoo Philippines introduced the all-new J7 SHS compact plug-in hybrid (PHEV) crossover. It entered the market with a starting price of P1.449 million, and for that, buyers get a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and electric motor setup with a maximum churn of 275 hp and 365 Nm of torque.

    Lynk & Co 08 EM-P

    After being previewed at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, Lynk & Co Philippines launched the 08 EM-P PHEV crossover in August 2025. 

    The model starts at P2.498 million and has a maximum output of 585 hp and 905 Nm of torque. Its electric mode can also cover up to 205 km from a single full charge.

    Chery Tiggo Cross HEV

    Chery Auto Philippines expanded its new energy vehicle (NEV) roster with the introduction of the Tiggo Cross hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). The said model was launched at an introductory price of P1.198 million and is capable of producing 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.

    Mercedes-Benz all-electric G-Class

    Mercedes-Benz has launched the all-electric G-Class for the local market, with a price starting at P13.59 million. The vehicle is equipped with a quad-motor setup and an estimated range of 475 km.

    Updated Mini John Cooper Works lineup

    British United Automobiles Incorporated, the official distributor of Mini cars in the Philippines and a part of the Autohub Group, has unveiled the latest lineup of John Cooper Works (JCW) models. The aforementioned includes the JCW 3-Door, JCW Aceman, JCW Countryman, and JCW Convertible.

    Updated Mitsubishi Xpander, Xpander Cross

    The refreshed Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross entered the Philippine market in August 2025. Pricing for the nameplate starts at P1.099 million, and it received upgrades for its cockpit, exterior aesthetics, and comfort-oriented features.

    Ford Everest Wildtrak

    Ford Philippines has expanded its Everest variant lineup with the introduction of the Wildtrak 4x4 and 4x2 trims. Both carry over the same specs as the Titanium+ variants, but with a more aggressive-looking exterior design.

    Suzuki Fronx

    Suzuki Philippines Incorporated unleashed the Fronx as its electrified, subcompact entry into the highly competitive crossover segment.

    Introduced with three variants with a starting price of P1.059 million, the higher-spec trims of the Fronx use a 1.5-liter hybrid mill that can put out 98 hp and 135 Nm of torque.

    Hyundai Venue (relaunch)

    The Hyundai Venue returned to the local market in September 2025. It is now offered with three different trims, with a starting price of P778,000.

    BYD Tang DM-i

    BYD Cars Philippines brought in the Tang DM-i midsize SUV with a starting price of P2.098 million. The model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor and a 21.5-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery. It was also kitted out with plenty of creature comforts and a robust safety kit.

    Mercedes-Benz launched the GLE 400e PHEV with a starting price of P5.79 million. The said model has a 100-kilometer electric-only range and many luxury touches in its cabin.

    Subaru Forester e-Boxer Hybrid

    Subaru has officially marked its entry in the Philippines’ new energy vehicle segment with the unveiling of the Forester e-Boxer Hybrid. The NEV crossover entered the market with a starting price of P2.498 million.

    Radar RD6 

    In October 2026, United Asia Automotive Group, Incorporated, launched the RD6 pickup trucks for the Philippine market. It comes in two versions, with the all-electric RD6 Econ with a starting price of P1.398 million, and the RD6 EM-P hybrid with a starting price of P1.698 million.

    Changan NEVO A05 PHEV

    Changan Philippines rolled out the NEVO A05 PHEV sedan with a starting price of P1.195 million. Under its hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with a hybrid system. Altogether, it can generate up to 212 hp and 330 Nm of torque.

    Updated Tesla Model 3

    The updated version of the Tesla Model 3 was launched in the Philippine market in October 2025. It received new hardware, including a new camera, a traditional turn signal stalk, and a slightly improved exterior design. Pricing for the updated Model 3 starts at P2.109 million.

    Toyota Ativ HEV

    Toyota Motor PH introduced the Ativ HEV sedan in four trims, priced from P916,000-P1.198 million. For the top-spec variant, the said model uses a 1.5-liter inline-four gasoline engine paired with an electric motor and a battery.

    Updated Hyundai Stargazer

    Hyundai brought in the updated version of the Stargazer with a price ranging from P1.118 million-P1.378 million, across four different variants. Under the hood of the Staragazer is a 1.5-liter mill with a maximum output of 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque.

    Jetour T1 i-DM

    Jetour Auto Philippines launched the T1 i-DM in October 2025. The aforementioned nameplate is a less aggressive take on the boxy design of the T2. It also uses a 1.5-liter engine linked to a hybrid system, and it is offered with a starting price of P1.798 million.

    BYD eMAX 9 DM-i

    BYD Cars Philippines brought in the eMAX 9 DM-i in the second half of 2025 as its premier family-friendly people-carrier. The model, like its DM-i compatriots, is a PHEV nameplate, but it boasts a well-appointed three-row layout and a sizable collection of on-board technologies.

    MG TRQ-L

    Morris Garages (MG) Motor Philippines entered the local pickup truck segment with the TRQ-L. The said model packs a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine capable of outputting 158 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Pricing for the TRQ-L starts at P1.248 million.

    GAC Aion V, Hyptec HT

    GAC Motor rolled out the Aion V and the Hyptec HT in October 2025. The two are all-electric crossovers, with the Aion V starting at P1.498 million, and the Hyptec HT retailing at P2.26 million.

    Updated BMW 318i Professional

    BMW Philippines launched the updated 318i Professional in November 2025. The model received new comfort and driving-oriented features, although it is still based on the G20 platform. Pricing for the updated sedan starts at P3.49 million.

    BMW 750e XDrive PHEV

    BMW introduced the 750e XDrive PHEV for the local market with a starting price of P7.99 million. Propelling the model is a 3.0-liter inline-six engine paired with an electric motor. In total, the said powertrain can put out 489 hp and 700 Nm of torque.

    Ford Ranger Wildtrak, Ranger Raptor SE

    Ford Philippines added the Special Edition (SE) versions of the Ranger Wildtrak and Ranger Raptor in November 2025. The two nameplates are limited to 100 units each, with each receiving an improved exterior design.

    Kia Sonet K-Style

    Kia Philippines introduced the Sonet K-Style, which was limited to just 150 units for the local market. The model is priced at P1.158 million, and it is available with unique color options, as well as additional exterior enhancements.

    Mitsubishi Destinator

    Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation rolled out the Destinator midsize, seven-seater crossover in three different trims. The aforementioned are retailed with a price ranging from P1.389 million-P1.929 million.

    Propelling the Mitsubishi Destinator is a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four gasoline engine with a maximum output of 160 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

    MG HS Hybrid+

    MG Motor Philippines brought in the next-generation HS Hybrid+ in November 2025 with a starting price of P1.398 million. Propelling the crossover is a 1.5-liter hybrid engine with a peak output of 220 hp and 340 Nm of torque.

    Toyota Tamraw GL UV, Aluminum Cargo

    Toyota Motor PH introduced two body styles of the Tamaraw, specifically the GL Utility Van (UV) and the GL Aluminum Cargo. These are priced at P1.307 million and P1.167 million, respectively. Notably, the new GL UV has a six-speed automatic transmission.

    Toyota bZ4X

    Toyota’s local arm expanded its all-electric offerings with the launch of the bZ4X. The said model starts at P2.699 million and has a 570-km range, with a maximum output of 223 hp for its front motor and 269 hp for its rear motor.

    Toyota GR Corolla

    Toyota Motor Philippines finishes off 2025 with the introduction of the GR Corolla. The company’s latest Gazoo Racing model is a hot hatchback powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-three engine that’s capable of putting out 296 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The track-ready vehicle also has all-wheel-drive, a six-speed automatic transmission, or a six-speed manual rower.
